THE MAIN MAN
Doug E Shaffer wrote the songs and laid out the initial structural arrangements. Played the core piano, some guitar and bass on all but one track. Sang the lead vocals and arranged and sang the background vocals.
THE PARTNER IN CRIME
I thank the universe for Doug Davis as he wears so many hats and wears them so well. Here he is brilliantly Producer, Arranger, and Engineer (recording & mixing). He also plays all the supporting keyboard parts, most of the noticeable guitar parts, and contributed all of the synth parts as well
THE BASS
Bass was the instrument that I concentrated on in my younger days so when I write I'm usually hearing a bass part in my head. While this album isn't as bass centered as other projects I have executed I'm still pretty happy with the contributions to the overall ascetic the bass parts on this album have made
THE DRUMS
Corky McClellan played kit on every track that required a full drum track in his usual intuitive and creative way. As usual there were times when Corky's take on a track early on in the process influenced the dynamics and the final arrangement of the track
